Payment & Security

Your card never reaches us.

Checkout on bravunet.com runs on Shopify Checkout. When you reach the payment step you are on Shopify's own hosted checkout, not on a form we built. Card details are captured and processed by Shopify and its payment processors — they are not transmitted to Bravunet, not stored on our systems, and not visible to anyone answering your emails.

What we can see

Your order, not your card

Your name, your delivery address, what you ordered, and a truncated reference such as the last four digits and the card type — the same information that appears on your own receipt.

So you know

We will never ask for these

A full card number, a CVV, or a password. If anyone contacts you claiming to be Bravunet and asks for one of them, it is not us. Report it to info@bravunet.com.

Standards

How the data is protected

Card data

PCI DSS Level 1

Shopify is certified to the highest of the four compliance levels defined by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council, and that certification covers the checkout this store uses. Because payment is handled entirely inside that certified environment, our own store is not a place where card data can be exposed.

In transit

HTTPS with TLS, site-wide

Every page on bravunet.com is encrypted, not only the checkout. Confirm it yourself: the padlock in your address bar, and an address beginning https. Click the padlock to check the certificate was issued for bravunet.com — worth doing on any store you have not bought from before, including this one.

Methods and currency

What you can pay with

The payment methods available to you are shown at the payment step and depend on your delivery country. We deliberately do not print a row of card-brand logos here: availability varies by region and changes over time, and a static row of logos is a claim we could not guarantee is accurate on the day you read it. The checkout itself is the authoritative answer.

All prices and shipping charges on this site are in US dollars (USD). Your bank may apply its own conversion rate and a foreign transaction fee if your account is held in another currency; that charge comes from your bank, not from us.

Charges

When you are charged

Payment is taken at checkout. Placing an order is an offer to buy — the contract forms when we send your shipping confirmation.
If we cannot fulfil an order because of a stock, pricing or fraud-screening problem, we cancel it and refund you in full.
You are never charged twice for one order. A duplicate pending authorisation is usually a failed attempt that your bank releases automatically within a few business days. Email us your order number and we will confirm what we actually captured.
Fraud screening

When an order gets flagged

Orders are screened automatically for indicators of fraudulent use of a payment method. Occasionally a legitimate order is flagged — typically when the billing and delivery addresses are in different countries. If that happens we email you before doing anything else.

Never

We will not ask you to release an order

Not by sending card details, not with a photograph of your card, and not with a password. Any message asking for that is not from us.

Always

We email you first

Before an order is cancelled or held, you hear from us at the address on the order.

Stage Timing Detail
We inspect and decide 3 business days From the day your return reaches us. We email you the outcome.
Your bank shows it 5 to 10 days Outside our control — it varies by bank or card issuer.
Destination The original payment method. We cannot send a refund to a different card or account.

A harness worn outdoors or washed is not eligible for a change-of-mind refund, and original shipping charges are not refunded. Full terms in the Return and Refund Policy.

Your account and your data

What we hold and why

You do not need an account to order. If you create one, choose a password you do not use anywhere else, and tell us promptly if you believe it has been used without your permission.

What personal information we collect, why, and who it is disclosed to is set out in full in our Privacy Policy. That policy also explains the information shared with our advertising partners and, under Your Choices and Rights, how to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.

Reporting a problem

Tell us, even if you are not sure

If you see a charge you do not recognise, or receive a message that appears to be from us and does not look right, email info@bravunet.com with your order number and a screenshot. We would rather look at a false alarm than miss a real one.

Email is the only channel we monitor and we reply within 1 business day, Monday to Friday.
